Japanese Samurai sword in traditional and fancy mounts with signed old blade, approximately 400 years old. The 20 ½” (Ko-Wakasashi) blade was longer and shortened during the period of use, probably from along sword. The blade shows improper cleaning with most of the temper visible. The gold inlaid high quality matching mounts show copper and gold with breaks in the lacquer on the scabbard. Est.: $1250-2500
